software issue \

download the M33-4 update and copy UPDATE folder to PSP/GAME and download the Original 5.00 EBOOTand, rename if is needed to 500.PBP, copy to PSP/GAME/UPDATE. From PSP start the installer.

try rename it and running installer again

Exclamation Help with PHAT PSP & CFW

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I purchased a Phat PSP on ebay, when I play a game like Madden or NFS or anything except diner dash, when the game loads up, the cursor goes to the right constantly or up and down, I replased the thumbstick and the other part that moves the cursor ledt right. But when I am just in the normal front screen, it works fine. I purchasd it with CFW already and the thumbstick needed replacement.

Any suggestions, this was my sons xmas present so please help.

Default Speaker issues

for some reason my PSPFAT1000
acts as though the headphones are plugged in at all times
even when they are not, there for my speakers arent working
when i do plug headphones in i have to twist and turn the jack into the pefect spot to get sound through them.
any ideas on what i can do to fix them?
any help would be greatly appreciated

yes i believe this is a common problem with the headphone jack over time you will need to remove the mobo which entails completely removing the psp mobo well almost i have a tut which shows steps to remove the less amount of parts to get to the wifi /headphone board and replace

go to ebay and get this WiFi WIRELESS MEMORY STICK/SOUND BOARD

THIS IS A OLD TUTORIAL CONVERTED FOR YOUR NEEDS HOPE IT HELPS

REMOVE LCD AND LCD BRACKET CAN USE THIS TO DISASSEMBLE BUT USE IT TO REMOVE LCD ONLY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YkeMHwSyys

LCD BRACKET SCREWS http://www.llamma.com/PSP/repair/ima...lcd-braces.jpg

follow tutorial till you have mobo flipped and expose WiFi WIRELESS MEMORY STICK/SOUND BOARD replace and follow steps backwards to reinstall
YOU CAN REMOVE UMD RIBBON THERE ARE 2 IN THE CENTER OF BOARD ON WHITE CLIP ONE BELOW BETWEEN SPEAKERS SLIM BLACK

REMOVE TIN AND WIFI AND HEADPHONE CARD IS LOCATE UNDER ONCE YOU REMOVE IT UNPLUG THE WIFI WIRE BECAREFUL REPLACE WIFI AND PLUG WIRE FROM "C" BACK IN REPLACE AND YOUTR GOOD

Wrong section, but download whatever firmware version you want from here, then extract the pbp file and place it in PSP/GAME/UPDATE on your memory stick, and run it from your psp.
