Default Need basic help hackig PSP

Firmware: 3.95 (From FF7:CC if it matters)
PSP Version: Fat (TA-082)
Custom Stuff: None.

Problem(if you could call it that): A few days ago, I figured I wanted to play iso-files on my psp, and quickly found one (Star Ocean Second Evolution.cso) to try it on. Of course it didn't work, since I had nothing except my psp and the cso... So, I found this forum, and have now spent a while trying to figure out what to do. I figured out that I've got firmware 3.95 thanks to this place and that my psp is a TA-082, and as far as I've understood it, my only option is pandora, but I can't really make any sense of the tutorials I've read about it... If someone could just tell me what I have to do to downgrade my firmware, I'd be really happy.

Thanks a million for any replies I get.

yeah so the only option for you to hack that psp is pandora's battery. the easiest way imo is to find a person who has a hacked psp to make the battery for you. the other way is for you to pry open a psp battery and mess with the pins inside. good luck!! =D

Ok, so I've read through the instructions on that page, and I found out that my battery, once opened, didn't look either like a fat or a slim battery. Still, I searched for the S93C56 chip, but realized how epic my failure was after roughly 2 hours. As such, I've abandoned my ideas of making it myself, and will try to get someone else to do it for me. While looking through the forums earlier, I found a link to someplace where I could find people to help me (which i will try to find again as soon as I've finished typing this) but if anyone has any ideas of where I can get this kind of help, I'd be happy if someone could tell me ^^;

How could it possibly be fake when it's the original battery that came with the psp when I bought it? But no matter, I think I managed to find someplace where I could buy a battery and magic memory stick, so I think I'm okay for now. If not, I'll return and eat my hat, so to speak.

Thanks for all the help, everyone ^_^
