Metal Gear Solid bought off store sound problems

Hello,

I bought Metal Gear Solid off the playstation store on my ps3.

I have moved it over the my psp, which has 5.50 gen d2 firmware on it.

The audio skips a lot, and i am unable to use popsloader with an officially bought ps1 eboot.

I think the 'pops', that official firmware 5.50, which is the only one it can use, (i think), isnt fully compatible with metal gear.

Does anyone have any ideas.

My first thought was to create a popsloader from the latest official firmware which i can use with metal gear, but like i said your unable to use it with official games.

Im not sure what to do, has anyone got any ideas.

Are you sure that your PSP has its clock speeds set correctly?

Reboot into recovery, and then go to CPU Speed. Make sure under both options that they are 222 or higher.
