coz i think it's memstick slot got busted.. so you know my psp is running on custom firmware 4.01m33 so here's my problem: while i was playing a game(dj max port 2.iso) during gameplay the music stops, while the was still going on.. and memstick light just kept blinking rapidly.. and so when i pressed the home key to exit the game it took a really really long time.. it never got back to the xmb menu just got stuck at the please wait screen.. and then i forcibly turned off the psp and when i turned it on.. it never booted up to the xmb it just got stuck at a black screen with the memstick light blinking rapidly.. whats up with that? someone please help me out.. continuation so now i removed the memory stick and turned it on it worked fine but when inserted the memory stick it says 0mb.. someone pls help me out.. go to recovery. toggle your usb and delete the game. Exit recovery see if it boots up.

might just have to format the memory stick.

i've got another problem..
when toggling usb connection... it doesn't go into usb mode with the memory stick in it.. i have to remove it first and then it goes to the connect usb cable screen then that's the time that i insert the memory stick? what's up that? someone please help me out.. tanx a bunch..
