hi ,

i need help quick , i have just updated my sons slim psp to V 3.93 fom 3.71 and now it wont let me play any of the games from the memorey card , i have checked and all the games are still there , he's going to kill me , please please can someone help me before he finds out :blush:

If its a custom FM you need to Format the mem stick to be the same as the PSP. Back up the files and go into System Settings and Select Format Memory Stick. Another thing might be because his was custom Firmware and now its not. But lets hope thats not the problem.

hi ,
im just backing up the files now , even though i formated the stick before will i have to do it now that i have updated to V 3.93 , what is a custom fireware , i know he paid someone £20 to do something , i have just done it now , there is no folder for iso files , i have just put a iso folder on the card and it still does not work , please help me (lol)

I believe that's his problem - as there is no CFW 3.93...

better hope your son has his hack kit still

i thought i was doing him a favour , how do i get it back to like it was so he could play iso/cso , i updated straight from the psp

you need someone with a pandora battery
in other words buy a $40 battery or pay some one $20 again

Ouch. Yeah shoulda known when you posted. You will need to Get someone to hack your sons psp again. If your son knows someone with a Custom Firmware they can do it. Also Sorry forgot you were new to this. Custom Firmware is Hacked Firmware maybe by people who aren't sony officials so you can play ISO's and such. If you find someone who can hack it its easy and can be done quick.

start there many usful links for all situations
sounds like you just updated to sonys firmware eliminating custom firmware
custom firmware allows you to play ripped games off the memory stick sonys doesnt....
you will need to downgrade/upgrade/hack your psp again
