thought these things were supposed to be region free?

Is there a hack, or just a way in the settings to make it play US versions
of umd movies?

Also, anyone else have a Sony Vaio Pocket 40G mp3 player? Is there a way to connect it to the PSP and use it as a hardrive w/ mucho movies instead of buying a 2 gig card (which costs the same as the Vaio)

thanks.

umd's are 1.6 gigs so its almost two...plus it is encripted for the small screen so it takes even less disk space up.....thats why img quality is so good
