Can someone please tell me for the auto patcher download is that all i have to do
do i also have to download 3.71

sigh......do u even have custom firmware?????? Or do u have Sony crap???

i havent gotten an update in a wile so i was gonna download the custom firmware (3.71)

before you even talk about putting manhunt 2 on your PSP...
downgrade your psp to 1.5
upgrade to cfw
then you can put iso's

search around, gain information. focus on downgrading first

So lemme get this strait I downgrade to 1.50 then update to 3.71
Then download the auto patcher
Right?

Ok so do downgrade to 1.5
Update to 3.71
Then download the auto patcher

DOWNGRADING/UPGRADING TIPS:
Before any upgrade/downgrade, a few things to keep in mind,
Charge ur battery so its 100% full, AC power plugged in when u run the upgrade/downgrade, backup any valuable files/savedata from ur psp, restore psp to default settings, format memstick before coping files to psp, remove any umd from ur psp, read readme file, NEVER TURN OFF PSP DURING DOWNGRADE/UPGRADE!



DOWNGRADING:
This must be done to install custom firmware, custom firmware removes Sony's restrictions, such as playing iso's and running homebrew (unsigned programs). Downgrading will typically bring ur psp back to 1.5 firmware, from there u install custom firmware. To use any of these ways, download files and read readme's.

There are several ways, all depending on ur current firmware version.

1 - Pandora Battery and Magic memstick - Can downgrade/upgrade/unbrick ANY psp, slim or fat. (can be difficult to make or obtain)

2 - Lumines UMD (unpatched) - can only be used if u have 3.50 and lower

3 - GTA;LCS UMD (unpatched)(has update version 2.0 on it) - can only be used if u have 3.03 firmware or lower

also, upgrade to a custom firmware not a sony one

for eg. 3.52 M33-4
