Help HACK my psp. PLEASE?

I have a psp slim 2001 with official firmware 5.50 on it. Im not sure what my mother board is, i don't know how to find it. I tried using the 5.50 gen B update custom firmware from this site, but it didin't work... Is my psp hackable, if so, how can i go about doing it?

Do u remember what firmware did your psp have out of the box when you purchased it? If it was anything below 4.01, then u can hack it using pandora battery and mms.

But if it came with 4.01 or above, you just ruined you chances of hacking it by upgrading it to 5.50

no im not sure... i got my psp approx. 1 year ago, and its the god of war psp, i don't know if that helps at all.

if its god of war psp it should be hackable. get a pandora and mms by

1.buy a pandora - easiest
or
2.hardmod your battery
or
3.get a friend who has cfw on their psp to softmod u a battery.

then make an mms using PSPGRADER
