bricked psp phat 4.01m33-2 but can access to recovery

help me pls.. while flashing custom theme, i kinda deleted all the files in flash0 and put my backup file back in my flash0.. after that, when i exit the recovery menu, all i can see is black screen and the green light.. then shuts down automatically.. is this bricked or semi bricked? what should i do? help me pls...

Its a semi brick. check stallones thread for recovery menu help. Do you already have a pandora?

i downloaded the flash0 backup of stallone. and flashed it to my flash0, but no luck.. i dont have a pandora. :( coz i dont have a spare battery and memory card.....

ohw...... but i kinda tried it back when i was using a 3.52m33.. it worked, but i don't know why not in 4.01m33.. wish i can unbrick this

If you haven't already, toggle usb flash0, and drop this bat file in flash0 root and run it from your PC to unlock and unhide all files on your PSP:

---> unlocker.bat





Open a flash0 backup for 4.01. M33 on your PC in a window.

Access flash0 on your PSP, and open a new window on your PC.

Check every single file that is in the flash0 backup, and cross reference it to every single file in your PSP's flash0.

Somewhere along the line, when you got the CRC error, the file that cause the CRC error has been written over at 0 bytes, and is missing from flash0.

When you find the missing file in your PSP's flash0, add the file from the flash0 backup.

If all else fails, follow the link that 40_ounce provided you.

Hey, I was having the exact same problem with my 4.01 m33-2 phat after attempting to install Project 4 V1.6180-2, I followed the directions in this thread exactly and now my psp is fully frickin' bricked. No recovery, no screen, no hope......Zvent@yahoo.com. I'm gonna go cry in my wheaties now.:blush:
