Default where can I get a battery?

just a plain, slim battery. don't say eBay. my friend bought me one off eBay, and it worked for ten minutes.

Slim batteries (1200mah OEM) are relatively easy to come by, at least in the US. Best Buy stocks them (in store), Frys carries them, I've even seen them at Target and Walmart. I saw one in an airport vending machine today. Sony Style stores have them of course, depends on far into the sticks you live. If you live in mail-order-or-nothing territory, Get it from frys.com, sku# 5366008

If you don't mind aftermarket, you can save some money getting one from codejunkies.com

Now the Phat batteries are a problem. Even the Sony Style stores don't stock them anymore. Aftermarket appears the be the only option, but never buy one on ebay.

thank you. that was the kind of answer I was looking for. The only place I checked was Gamestop, and they didn't have anything.
