After relizing that the voltage to the psp had to be exzactley 5-5.5 volts i endevered to build the bigest exturnel battery ever. which i just compleated tonight. i used the battery in my last post which was a duracell dr12 it put out 7 volts. i used my dremel tool and cut the case open and removed all the nickle metle hydride batterys. there was 10 batterys that where grooped in sets of 2. from the battery specks the 2 batterys conected put out 1.3 volts at 4000mh which when all of then wher conected it was 6.5 volts at 4000mh. i redid the conections so that all the positive ends where conected togeather and all the negitave ends conected togeather. i now have a battery pack that puts out 1.3 volts at 20,000mh, just to prove my point check the math. on the camcorder battery case it says it puts out 4000mh at 6 volts, now to get total output watts you time volts x amps. so 4000mh x 6 = 24 watts output befor i opened the battery and after i reconfigured the batterys i get 1.2 volts at 20,000mh now lets see 1.2 volts X 20,000 = 24 watts. wanted to show you that to show that the battery values that i state here are corect and that i not just throwing numbers out there. Sence 1.2 volts is not at all the volts i need to charge my psp i needed to add more batterys. I then cut abart my laptop battery, now the laptop battery had an out put of 14 volts at 4300mh. there was 8 batterys inside aranged in the same configuration as the camcorder battery. 8 batterys in groups of 2, now these batterys are lithim ion batterys and have an out put of 3.5 volts for each cell which can be shown by showing that the laptop battery has an out put of 14 volts and 3.5 X 4 = 14 now if your wondering why i timed it by 4 insteb of 8, is because the main laptop batery was made out of 4 battery packs where each pack had 2 batterys. so each batery pack was 3.5 volts at 4300mh, which ill show my the falowoing math. 14 volts ouput of unopened laptop battery at 4300 mh = 14 x 4300 = 60.2 watts total out put power. after i rearanged the baterys i had 3.5 volts at 17200mh which 3.5 x 17200 = 60.2 watts same total output power as befor i opened the battery.
i then took the first batters from the camcorder that = 1.2 volts at 20,000mh and conected them to my batterys from my laptop which was 3.5 volts at 17200mh. i conected them so that the 1.2 and 3.5 = 4.2 volts and 37200mh. but if i use my multi meter and check the battery it is actulay puting out 5.16 volts because the batterys arnt exzactley what there rated. so as you can see i now have a 5 volt exturnel battery pack about as big as an orange that is 37200. now the psp stock battery is 3.6 volts at 1800mh which is 3.6volts X 1800mh = 6.48 watts total power where my battery pack is 5.16volts x 37200 = 191.952 watts total power.
now devide my batery pack by the stock battery which is 191.952 watts / 6.48 watts = 29.622 which means my battery has 29.622 time more power than the stock battery now if i can get 5 hours of play time out of the stock battery the myne would be 5hr x 29.622 =148.11 hours of play time for my super battery which is not that big at all, i would not mind having it with me in my back pack. i am now looking for a case for it. this has to be the bigist battery conected to a psp. if not i have more batterys at home but i like the size of it now. thanks foe reading my madness.

HOLY CRAP!!! have you ever heard of punctuation and sentence/paragraph structure! man that was humongous!

anyways.. why didnt you just take those first batteries and instead of them all being a serial connection to make it uber amps but mini volts. just mix it up a bit..

soo.. less serial .... more parallel connections... know what i mean?

sorry about that, when i get excyted i just go crazy and dont think about how things come out. well the reasion i did the batterys i did was because it was the easeyest way to wire and also half of the batterys where 3.5 volt and the other half where 1.2 so it just worked out perfect the way i did it. hear are the pictures of the uber battery. if somone wants one i can make some more.
