Is the actual button - the thing that pushes the button on the flex cable - damaged? And not properly pushing it? Or is the socket on the mobo damaged or not making a good connection?

Nope, couldn't be the fault of the button which touch the flex cable.
So it could be the cable or socket fault. How could i try to find the reason why the select && sometimes start button isn't working? |
