Hey everyone,

Don't post much because usually all the info I need is found through search. In any event, can't find the fix/reason for this one

Just the past week, everytime I put the PSP into sleep, and try to wake it back up, the power light flickers green and then turns off. If i flick the power button again - the PSP resets to the Sony splash screen.

I've eliminated the possibility of software error because I upgraded to 3.90 M33 the day it dropped and this just began recently. It occurs no matter what homebrew I'm running. Reset Flash1 just in case some funny config setting was causing it, but to no avail.

Is there a hardware malfunction that I haven't heard about with the power button? Any advice is appreciated.

P.S. Don't say "Are you sure you aren't holding the button too long and turning it off?" etc...I've had my PSP since release day and this has never happened...Thanks

Have you updated to 3.90M33-3?

Does this happen in the XMB?

Oh lol...that's good that you brought it up though, didn't notice that it works fine in XMB but not when in-game (both homebrew and legit UMD's)...at least that must mean it's not hardware related...

(MODS - since this seems like it's no longer a hardware issue, could you possibly move this to the general Help section...don't want to clutter the board with reposts)

Yep. Same thing happens to me, it's annoying as hell, since it used to work fine back on 3.40 OE. Except I'm currently at 4.01 m33-2 and I can put actual PSP games in sleep mode no problem without the psp crashing.

Would love to know if there's a fix or not for this in the m33 versions. :/
