Default Analog stick problems..

My problem is that if i pull my analog stick to edge right it won't work. Up, Left Down works. Best example is god of war. Playable if I wont nudge stick fully to edge. Circling stick around fully and Kratos stops or walks up/down when pulling right. All other directions work flawlessly. Slim psp 2004. HELP

Q:Yes , then what to do now
A:Your solution is Joy Sens . Click http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1322 to download it
Instructions :
1-Extract it and put it in your PSP as a normal plugin
2-Then follow this semi automatic way to make your analog stick act as normal.
Quote from the Readme :
Quote:
Quote:
- Move the analog stick to the top-left and hold it a few seconds, then release slowly until it's centered and don't
touch it anymore. Press NOTE+SQUARE,
- Move the analog stick to the bottom-right and hold a few seconds, release slowly until centered. Press NOTE+SQUARE.
- Repeat these steps until the center point has been found correctly (optimally, this is the mean value of the axes
minimal and maximal value when the stick isn't touched).
Default value is <0,0>.
The way above worked perfectly fine with me

Q2:My analog doesn't respond to UP/DOWN/TOP/BOTTOM
A:Use Joy sens to increase the sensivity .
Hold NOTE and Click on R trigger to increase and L trigger to decrease
Increase to 200%, if same increase to 300% , if same increase to 400% (MAX)
If still didn't work then read the readme in JOY SENS for fixes . Sorry but iam not very experienced with it but the readme does help

Tried Joysens. Problem still continues. One thing I noticed: if I apply pressure(push down) it gets worse. Maybe cleaning the stick would help? Or what?

i had a problem with mine also. my problem was just a loose connection between the joystick and the motherboard. have you had it apart lately? if so make sure you put the screw in that goes through the motherboard right by the joystick. if it is there you could try shimming up the joystick underneath so it puts more pressure between the motherboard and the joystick contacts. when you said it got worse when you press on it i figured that could be the solution.
