can anyone tell me if the pro duo ultra has a noticably different performance speed compaired to a normal pro duo? is it worth spending the extra money?

they are both 8 gig..... but there is a $30 price difference. the ultra bosts improved speeds.....but im not sure if its worth it.

has anyone used one?

It's faster when you transfer files to and from the Stick, but games do not seem to benefit from the improved transfer speed.

I personally bought the Ultra. Since I transfer stuff in and out of the stick so often, it's a huge time saver for me.

Read speed = same
Write speed = higher on Ultra II

Just get it if you want to copy & save things faster. It's worth the money IMO.
