(BTW, great guide dude. Without this I would've deleted FF7 for PSP lol)

You can extract the PRX files from any firmware (up to 3.30 using psardumper330, but it apparently works up to 3.50 too) without downgrading.

Just do the following (assuming your PSP FW is OE):

1) Grab an official FW update PBP (i.e. if you need 3.11, get the official 3.11 and so on)
2) Extract it using PBP Unpacker
3) Copy the DATA.PSAR to ms0:/ (root directory)
4) Download psardumper330 and put the folder psardumper330 in ms0:/PSP/GAME150
5) Run psardumper330 and when it asks if you need to decrypt using sigcheck and shit, press square (decrypt all) and grab a coffee (I like cappucino)
6) All the PRX files you need should now be in ms0:/f0/kd (preemptive reminder: you don't need meaudio.prx for 3.10 and 3.11, so they're not "missing")

If you need help at any of the above steps, go over all the steps to see if you did everything correctly. ;)

Alternatively you can grab 3.51 M33 CFW, which seems to make this glitch obsolete.

Thnx man, I maneaged to fix this I while ago, actually I had gieven up, but just decided to try one more time after I had innstalled the newest CWCheat (back then), probably it worked because I was lucky enough to load the memory card at the right time. i think it was way more anoying for me than for most people to since I had 50H+ because there was no problems where I was training (in disk 3) lvl 80+, I was so happy when i got this fixed! Hope everyone else with the problem can fix it to now.

please excuse the next few words as i am completely new to all of this
so i have 35.2 m33 and i am playing ff7 via an eboot each with teh same game ID and such
does this issue only apply to an OE psp? or is it a universal problem
and if it does affect all FW, would this "fix" apply to other FWs (such as 3.52 m33)

First of all, let me tell Paco that he is an amazing person and deserves an award.

In other news, I have a similar question as quoted. Can I upgrade to the newest M33, with this fix still working? I'd like to put that new iPhone theme on my PSP.

Thanks. ^_^

Yeah, I had the same problem previously when I was running on 3.40 OE. I upgraded to the latest M33 and now I have no problems. Also if any of you think your stuck because your on the second disc like this, dont. I was on the second disc going like this and then upgraded and then it was fixed.
So you could just do that instead of all that troublesome crap on the first page. :mrgreenthumbsup:
