Lightbulb How to Watch TV on ur PSP

Ingredients

1. PSP- modded or not, it doesnt matter
2. a PS3
3. ORB www.orb.com
3.5 a computer with a tv tuner card
4. the internets of course

Set up remote play between your psp and ps3.
Install and configure orb with your tuner card
when all is said and done, start and run orb.

turn on your ps3 and set it up to receive Orb streams. the orb server will be automatically detected by the ps3 if it is on the same network. if it isnt detected got to video/music/or photos and select search for servers. it should find it.

After he ps3 finds it go to Videos>Orb>LiveTV and from there it will load all the channels that were configured when you set up orb.

Good Luck, and please don't bash me if someone has already discovered this. I have searched for tv solutions for the last 2 months and this seems to be a lot better than any that i have found including the homebrew app that uses Dscaler. And yes i know that orb uses Dscaler in some form and fashion.

Wait you signed up to tell us this.... Anyways yeah if your in japan or another 1seg area there is always the tv tuner for the psp.

I often watch divx videos on my psp thru the PS3. Now if we could just get the DVR for the PS3 that Europe got a taste of.

i am not speaking simply of streaming videos on the hard drive, i am trying to make it known that Orb actually lists your television stations in the video folder on the ps3 side. eesh

what? i have a slim 5.00 m33 6 psp and I can run all apps, I have ps1 eboot's, isos, cso's, homebrew apps that have been out for 2 or 3 years, and I can use the location free player, have been using it for about 9 months now. I remember hearing something about the kernel about a year ago, I think its been taken care of.

No, locationfree initially won't work on phat 1.50 enabled psp's running custom firmware, this is because to allow for enough space, locationfree and korean fonts are removed during installation.
