okay so im stuck at the nibelheim reactor place trying to beat sephiroth. everytime i get my streak going, he summons those crystal things and i am unable to even get close to sephiroth. i dont really materias believe it or not. only cura / hp+ / and barrier. i tried using dark firaga but no avail im level 27 =p anyone got tips for beating him ?

my equips im using are 3 power wrists =p

Level up...spend a few hours doing missions.. I'm no where near as far as you in the game.. which kinda sucks because this kinda spoiled a bit for me (Sorta...).. But I've played 15 hrs into the game.. Im at Junon Harbor at level 40..36% of the missions completed. There's no other option but to level up.. unless you have some cheats loaded on CWCheat or something

I think you should ask this in gamefaqs, for the record i had a problem with those crystals too, but i eventually beat it, i got lucky star like 5 times HAHA.

ignore the crystals and go straight for seph

After you beat him, the rest of the game won't be as hard, IMO that is the hardest boss in the game.

I'm chasing Hollander in the central tunnel - level 6 section, I've just beaten the Generals Tank.
I've been playing for just over 10 hours.

SP is 162908
HP is 4210
MP 171
AP is 183
Level is 25

I've been doing the missions pretty solidly whenever possible to build my character up.

I have Irfit, Bahamut and Odin materia and use:

Vital Slash
Darkness
Thundara
Fiagra
Cura
HP Up+

All of them are master, I guess I should combine Darkness with something and start leveling up something else.

My items are safety belt and pearl necklace.

At this point my character doesn't really struggle with bosses and rarely dies unless I do the very hard missions, I know haven't gotten to Sephiroth but all I can say is work on the missions and build you guy up....

how long is the game? im at 11 hrs without doing any side missions.

lets see uhh. i beat sephiroth finally. and then for some retarded reason, the file is now corrupted and i have to start over. now aint that a bish ?

LOL WTF?? did you update your firmware?

actually i tried to put in CWcheats and it effed up. but actually i did update to 3.71 from 3.52
