Yeah I attempted this like 10 times, following word for word the tutorial. I tried using both ver 2 and 4. Seems I can't get altered ISO to even boot. It just hangs at a black screen. DE3209 did you get the game to even boot after altering the ISO? I'm totally stuck. I tried to even remove one song from the ISO and rebuild it but UMDGEN can't seem to rebuild it correctly so it won't even boot up the ISO anymore.

I dont' think the ISOs were not corrupt since one of them, which I DL before and it played it fine. I also dumped it from the UMD using DAXUMDDUMPER since I have the game as well and they both booted fine until I started altering them in UMDGEN. The game is Initial D Street Stage. Every game I dumped wtih DAX played fine in Dev Hook and in OE 3.4-A. Any ideas?

thanks a lot. I tried like 3 other versions UMDGEN. Just even removing one sound file will not allow me to boot up the game. Ill look around for another ISO psp rebuilder. In the mean time Im using that MP3 plugin until something happens LoL

right...i've had a go trying to put some music on to Initial D Street Stage and because of the lba protection, i have failed to do so. basically, when the game has been protected in this manner, you can only replace the file with a file the same size or smaller (but not as small as 0kb). i have tried different ways of shrinking the mp3 (bit rate etc.) but no matter what i do, the .toc file is still too large when i replace it in the game. i will try and find a way around this problem but i can see it taking some time.
if anyone ells has any luck by-passing the lba protection or managing to put some music on to any game with this protection, please let me know and i'll give it a go.

Aw ok. I knew you would figure out what the problem would be. So if we can shrink the mp3 to equal or smaller value the game should boot?
