I have an assignment in English where I have to choose an article (recent) and write a short story about it. Like it has to have names and such that I could use as characters and form the outline for a basic plot I could work with.


Any ideas on articles I could use!??!?!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?

Choose something to do with a disaster or terrorist attack. Then you can write a story about how the people escape/survive from the disaster or attack, or alternatively all the people can die

Nice assignment, the only difficulty is in narrowing down your choices. I'd suggest either deciding on the kind of story you want to write and then Googling suitable articles or just browse some of the news sites. Did they define exactly what they mean by recent as well as the type of articles should or shouldn't be used?

It has to be appropriate. By recent I believe they mean within the past few months.
