You can pick one up for peanuts if you buy a used bundle.

I can buy a used 360 with a 4 or 5 games and a couple of controllers + HDD . for less that $200

Then just sell the controllers $30 each because you already have one and sell the games for $25 each and you have just got a 360 for $40 or less.

I do this once or twice a week .

Someone sold me a 2008 model 360 (BenQ) a few days ago with RROD for $25 . I was going to get my friend to Xclamp it or try a walmart swap but i decided to just check to see if it had been registered to anyone first and it wasn't. Now it is registered in my name and M$ are fixing it for free lol

My 3 yr old son owns a 2008 modded Elite that i got for around $30 and a few weeks back i got a Wii with 10 games for $150 (The kid needed $150 to go towards his new gaming PC ) I traded the games for $150 alone and sold the Free Wii for $200

Just some quick info...
Wave 4 games will not run on Benq V1.51. so if you are having issues with any new games it is because you have a BenQ drive and you must update your 360 from 1.51 and use the Activate.iso disc

What exactly does the Activate.iso do anyway? I know it will let you boot games that wont boot on 1.6 firmware but wont you risk getting banned?

You will still run the risk getting banned.

But due to how iXtreme works, this is the way to bypass the wave check. Read more about Wave 4 here:

So I should try buying a used one?

To bad they are more expensive then a new one here.
Cheapest used one in Sweden(Arcade+2Games): 287,06 USD (2100SEK).

Cheapest new Arcade: 265,73 USD (1944SEK)

On the other hand the 2nd cheapest one in Sweden goes for 2200SEK (300,73USD) and comes with 2 wireless controllers and 7 games

If I buy the one for 300USD what do you think I could sell the 7 games for since I won't need those?

In Canada i use this to price my games :
http://www.tivs.ca/ I normally price my games $5 higher than the trade in value at futureshop unless it is a popular game like GTA IV or Halo 3 because they sell for $25-$35 easily or i sometimes trade unwanted games in for Verbatim discs at futureshop lol

Another good thing to do is find out if they have any offers on ..... EB was doing a trade of 3 games for a new Wii Fit + Balance board for $49 ..... So i got the Wii Fit for my 3 games + $49 went out to my car unpacked it and took the Wii fit game back into the store and they gave me $35 for it . So i got my Balance board for $15 lol

if that was the case, can't we just take the HD and fake memory card to a non-updated xbox and transfer the files?
