My friend from New York called me the other day bragging about how he got Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before me and is going to be ahead of me in the leaderboards blah blah blah. Well today, I found out, not only on they resetting the leaderboards, but he called me today and told me his xbox got RRoD'd!

they reset it because of the pirates and all the stores breaking street date
so IW released a statement they would reset all the leaderboards to put everyone on equal footing again the day before it gets released
bunch of people already had 2+ days playing...
