Default Legos, LEDs, and the need for a lamp.

I needed a lamp to do some soldering, but i didn't have one handy, so i made one from a few spare parts i had lying around, and some LEGOs.

See Here

It works great, and it's wireless, with a usb charge port.

lol Nice one chAosDaJuggalo ..... I need a wireless lamp for under my PC desk when i am modding 360's . It is really dark when i am trying to find the r707 port and take a key reading with my probe . I normally just use a flashlight but my 3 YO son steals it so he can look for zombies in his bedroom ...lol

thanx Jibbz.
I had a flash light once.
I too have a lil one (2 years old), needless to say, i dont have a flashlight anymore either. Why do they steal all the lights when THEY ARE the monsters?! lol

btw, the fact that i have a "lil one" isn't my excusse for having, or using LEGOs. Those are MINE. I've had them since childhood. I got a big tub full of em still, guess she can have em now tho. till i need em again for random weirdness.

lol
Akira (my lil girl) won't stop trying to take every thing apart. If I'm missing a screwdriver, I always know where to find it.
she watches me too much. no toy is safe from the "Akira Monster".

Pics of it Rebuilt

that was the original plan, but when i took apart the headset, It stopped working. I broke off a little bitty piece from the circuit board, and couldn't get it back on, but I think it will still charge via usb. Guess I'll find out when it dies. I wired the LED straight to the battery of the headset.

Spoiler for Before:

Spoiler for After:

Spoiler for My favorite part:
when you look into the glass block, through the front you can see the headsets circuit board.

hmm, guess everyone left to watch SGU. lol
not like any of us have lives, and do stuff on friday nights, or is that just me? eh... w/e.
