Fucking Widsom Teeth

So apparently i need to get these out soon, but I'm soooo worried.

I need a little advice and some honesty from those who have really gotten them out. Is it painful during/after?

And should I get IV Sedation/anesthesia, i'm not sure what it's called, but i don't know if i need it, it's 200 dollars more..

Well, if you're like superman or something and can bear the pain don't use anesthetic.

I haven't had Wisdom teeth removed, but 2 normal teeth. During the pulling I almost felt nothing(with anesthetic of course), but after the anesthetic's effect was gone I felt severe, though bearable, pain.

I got mine out last year. They basically were grewing in completely crooked right into my check and hurt like 10 bitches on a bitch boat all the time.

They knocked me out with anesthesia, i woke up and i couldnt feel anything, went and got some groovy pain killers, and played some old rpg's for a couple days straight, and felt fine after....

Not so bad, way over rated....

How long does the pain last? And also, anesthesia is not the same as novocaine right?

Pretty sure they just use Novocaine to numb your mouth, not to knock you out, and i actually think they used both on me...

its not that bad at all unless the roots have spread out real wide into ur jawbone.
i had all 4 of mine removed and it was a cakewalk.
lots of freezing is all it took 4 me.
dentist was done removing them in 5 minutes, took 1/2 an hour for the freezing to kick in first though.
i was in and out in 45 minutes and the next day my cheeks and jaw were a little sore thats all, some tylenol fixed that though.
just dont suck(straw) or smoke for the first few days after to let the holes heal, soft food is a must(soup etc...)

If you have a nice dentist like mine , you wont even know hes started... And he will already be done.. Pain wise.. Its pain. You know it , you love it. You soon get over it.
