Could somebody help me setting pspvc so that it converts videos that have a good size but also a good quality? What is in your opinion the best video bitrate to work with? Also, what are the tolerance and quantizer settings? It would be very helpful if someone could tell me which are the best settings for all the settings pages I attach. Speed doesn't really matter for me cause I have a quad core. Thanks in advance!

I'm really not sure about the PSPVC GUI.
If it offers "Constant Quality" or "Constant Quantizer" modes, I'd use those (they do not involve a bitrate).

Not sure what "tolerance" refers to. Quantizer generally refers to quality (ie quality VS size ratio) - in the screenshot, since you're using a bitrate based encode, you can supply maximum and minimum quantizers (you generally don't need to touch this).

I can give better advice for XviD4PSP since I know x264 more than ffmpeg.
