Video Mobile Converter is the best tool for converting video to PSP format, imo. I recommend you to try it

Psp Video 9 should work fine. If your computer is slow, then it might take a while. --'

just use a simple avi to psp converter and change the settings to high quality. Results are remarkable. I useTotal Video Converter 3.11 and works really great . . . you could try it . . .

i use sony vegas pro. found a nice patch for it. it has an option just for porting to psp and seems to me ANY vid format works on this program. you could just keep using the trial version and re-installing when the 3O days are up

Say, I downloaded a movie. The format was in .avi. Can I use ViVI MP4 Converter to convert it to a MP4? What if the movie was already an MP4. When you play the video or movie on your PSP, does it automaticly make it so it fits your screen? Sorry for the noob questions. I am new to the movie PSP Scene

No, there is no guarantee that any MP4 file will work on the PSP. MP4s need to be converted to fit the PSP's specifications.
MP4s converted for iPods (or most other portable players) probably will work on the PSP, however those for devices like the PS3 probably won't.
