Help me find some music by genre

Ok, so I want to get some music that is like stuff from tuner-type racing games.
I have been told before that this is called "Trance" but whenever I try to find Trance music, I always end up with ominous music that makes me want to put on steel-toe boots and stomp on puppies or something.

I want something peppy and fun.
Any recommendations, compilations, etc?
