can psp video 9 do it?

hi, i have a movie on my pc with subtitle included. i know its not hardcoded, but just included in the file. every time i play it in vlc player the subtitle comes too, but cannot be turned off. i windows media player it crashes, you know, microsoft program. so i want to convert it to psp. can psp video 9 convert and hardcode it too? or can the psp just play subtitles, something i dont think it can. the subtitle have been included with the program aviaddsubs. i works on ps3, but on psp does it work?

is there any program that can do this if psp video 9 cant?

Try using PSPVC. It's waaay better and if I recall it has subtitle options in it. You might find your answer there.
