This is a must have plugin if you want to try out or test something, or even just for fun! I will add more when the need arises and when I have the Time Extracting Files using WinRar Make sure you have downloaded and installed WinRar. To download WinRar, Google 'WinRar' and download it from the Official Site. Once installed, WinRar can be used to view and extract files such as Rar and Zip. To extract the files, just right-click the Rar file that you downloaded from my thread and select 'Extract Here'. The files will then begin to extract to the same folder the Rar file is in. Once the files are extracted, they are ready to be used. Accessing the Recovery Menu The Recovery Menu is where you can adjust a bunch of settings regarding how a PSP runs. To access this Menu, turn off your PSP COMPLETELY. To do this, hold the Power Switch up for 2-3 seconds until the PSP turns off. The PSP is now turned off completely. Now, Hold the RIGHT shoulder button. Turn on the PSP. Make sure you're still holding the right shoulder button. A menu with RED writing should now appear on the screen. This is the Recovery Menu. PSP System Settings To make sure the PSP runs the downloads found in the thread above optimally, set these settings in your PSP. First, go to the Recovery Menu. There, set these settings. In configuration: Game Folder Homebrew (currently: X.XX Kernel) -set this to the kernel respective to your firmware version.For Example, if you're on 5.00 m33 firmware, set the Kernel to '5.XX Kernel'. UMD Mode (currently: Sony NP9660 -NO UMD- ) PSP Application Installation Always remember to read the Readme of any Application if it is available in the download. It may give directions on how to use the Application and maybe more a more specific procedure on how to install the desired Application. To install PSP applications from the thread above where it says 'Put in folder: GAME' You have to copy the contents of the download into the GAME folder in your PSP Memory Stick. The Game folder can be found here: X: PSP/GAME where X is the Memory Stick drive letter. Make sure to copy the folder which contains the 'EBOOT.PBP'. For example, if you're installing PSP Maps, you'll have the 'PSP-Maps' folder in the 'GAME' folder. The 'EBOOT.PBP' will be in the 'PSP-Maps' folder. Now, you can start the application from the Game Menu in the PSP XMB(XrossMediaBar/Home Screen). To install PSP applications from the thread above where it says 'According to README in download' To install these applications,read the README in the download and follow the instructions that are given.
