when I extract the rar. file for MGS for instance, It contains ms dos bin file, pmf file, read me file. I don't see the psp_game or umd_data folders Someother games have pmf files after winrar extraction. Are these not a complete kit? Do I need the original downloaded ISO to put together a working version that has been reduced in size? Just really confused. obviously not much of a hacker like you folks, but wants to learn. Anything would help. thanks |

the ripkits don't contain the game. you provide that yourself.
that's where the PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.bin file come from. you have to find that yourself. you can't ask for them here. |

thanks for the clarification.
As for starter, it probably is better for me to find a original copy of the UMD, load it to PC using fastloader, then use the rip kit as a guide to reduce the size of the ISO, appropriately? Is that where I should stand? thanks. |
