Default PSP Revolution Issue

It seems that it will not play the song.

I download the simpack. extracted the folder into the "Song" folder.

Once I start the game it'll display the folder name but when I open the folder in-game it'll say "No song found"

but once I check my memory stick, it shows the .sm file, the banners, the .mp3 file.

You have to create sub-folders inside the "song" folder and place the simfile folder inside the sub-folder. For instance; Song>Video Game Songs>Katamari On The Rocks. If that doesn't work, make sure the .mp3 is the same name as the folder it's in.

And here is a shameless plug to a fellow pspsr player: try my simfiles...

They are made especially for pspsr, with the banners and bg's sized for the psp screen.

Hope this helps.

I did exactly that.

I even downloaded your song and put that whole folder into the song folder and it still says
"No song found" when I try to go play it.

Hey man not trying to be redundant here but I just re-read this post of yours and if you did indeed put my simfile folder into the song folder than you have missed the most important step.

You must make a category folder inside of the song folder, then put my sim folder (or any other ones) into THAT category folder. When you open PSPR and it displays the songs you have, the first display is the Category display, when you select something it is still looking for another folder. So if you extracted my simpack into a folder INSIDE of the "SONGS" folder than you still need to go back into the songs folder, create a new folder and name it whatever you want "TEST SONGS" or whatever, then drag and drop my song folder into the "TEST SONGS" folder.

Then when you open the game and go to the song menu you should see "TEST SONGS" then when you click on that, it will bring you to whatever simfile folders you have extracted into it.

I hope this isn't confusing, I tend to babble sometimes. If you have any more porblems AIM me at "UKnowILuv" and I will try to help. I think everyone should be able to enjoy such a great game.

i wish they'd release the source so it can be updated. one of the best homebrew imo.
