ISO questionnnn ?

many of the iso's that i have been "obtaining" come in a series of files with extensions in a number range, like: .001 ; .002 ; .003 ; .004 ...etc...
and i was wondering with what program and how do i turn these files into a single .iso ?
any help would be greatly appreciated
