Default FireRed problems with PSP GPSP emulator.

I'm currently using the PSP-1001 (Fat) and downloaded this emulator.

http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-emulators/game-boy-advance/

At first, this emulator ran Pokemon FireRed flawlessly. No FPS chugs, audio was perfect, but after I returned Oak's Parcel..the PSP just shut off. Completely.

I turned it back on, tried another BIOS, (the first one gave me a little warning).
At this point, I learned the crash deleted my save. Anyway, I play again. I get past Oak's Parcel without any problem this time, save. Turn off and go to bed.

The next day I load it up, the save worked fine this time, and continued where I left off. I did roughly an hour of gameplay and then I ran into a trainer and BAM, the PSP crashed again. Once I turned it back on, any saves that I had done with the hour of gameplay that day. Were gone.

I realize that that appears to be made for the PSP Slim, but I couldn't find any other ones.

I'm trying to download the PSP GBA Emulator from the Sticky, but RapidShare slots are full.

Any suggestions until I can try it?

Edit: Durr, I'm a moron. I Kai is fer slims and normal is fer phats hurrr. I.E. I'm a moron. If this fixes it. I'll repost for a post deletion.

Try getting another BIOS. Yours might be bugged a little bit. Also, try this emulator:
