Default Data.psp?!

OK, I am making a homebrew which I will (hopefully) release later. How would I use a hex editor with the DATA.PSP to make sure that the game is unsigned by Sony? What value is it? I edited the PARAM.SFO so the PSP_SYSTEM_VER is 1.00. And the PBP version is 1. Or what about the DISC_ID? Is there a specific ID for homebrew or can it just be random? I would really appreciate some help, guys.

Anything you compile yourself is automatically not signed by Sony unless you get their signature and know the process to signing the homebrew. AFAIK, you shouldn't need to edit those values as 'param.sfo' controls the name, region and firmware requirement of the EBOOT/ISO.

err.. you don't hex edit anything unless your not the developer....

if your making the homebrew you just set everything in the makefile and the source...

why would you hex edit your homebrew to unsign it.. first we can't even sign homebrew. second, if we could, why unsign it?.....

Actually it is the SensMe EBOOT. I edited the PARAM.SFO so the PSP_SYSTEM_VER is 1.00. I want my PSP to recognize it as homebrew. Since SensMe is signed by Sony, it won't run.
