DaedalusX64 emulator issues

all emulators i've tried so far work without any problems except for this one, for some reason if I try to run anything past the beta 1 release (incuding the alphas), I just get a black screen after start up and then crashes once I try to exit from it.

does anyone know how to fix this?

I own a slim 2000, official firmware 5.03 with, running HEN R2 only.
