Wow, this version takes bloody ages to load a ROM. Except Banjo-Kazooie, that booted right up for whatever reason (only to spend like 20 minutes playing through all the unskippable intro sequences at 15FPS <_<), but all the others take like 10 minutes to start. It seems to be doing something to the ROM and copying it to a temporary file, which also means a ton of MS writes every time you load a ROM (lots of writing = good way to wear it out).

A couple games run slightly faster and look slightly better, but they're still pretty slow, and sound is still unusable. (One mode just crashes, the other sounds terrible... can't remember which.) Diddy Kong Racing still doesn't render at all.

It's amazing how well it does work, but I don't think I'll be playing N64 on the bus any time soon.

WOA, much support for those hard working guys who are trying to make the n64 emulator for the psp smoothly. i would totally donate to them if they can one day release a nice stable n64 emulator. i miss playing zelda, mario, and starfox 64. Looking good. I can see differences between beta 1 and the newer beta 2, soon to be released. Although the only reason I don't use Daedalus is because the sound annoys me. That's the main thing I want fixed for now.

That and not taking 10 minutes to load a ROM. Or at least leave the temporary file when done, so it doesn't have to be regenerated every time.

This is amazing, Super Mario 64 works flawlessly.

Question: Is there some kind of expansion pack support? I tried to play Goldeneye, and Conker and it would just have a black background (the region was USA, just like everything else I use).

Can't wait till final version comes out.
