actually, he started the thread, but I think hes just looking at it to see wut others think, hes not really "talking". that thread is 5 pages of "it worksa on 1.6!!" "awesoem, but I still luv u monkey" "dont abandom ur emu" lol but yea either way I dont see them putting their emuis togteher, tho it would be nice and COULD happen, but I still see 2 great emus in the works!

I have tested a few roms. You can play the training level in Star Fox and Pilot Wings crashes in game. Going to test a few more.

Its already afrther than the GAB emu.

Tho, I really wish we did have a GBA emu... I wodul code one myself, but by the time I am good enough to code it, soemoen else will ahve done it, or homebrew on the PSp will die out, or the PSP will be obsolete...

Lets hope the PSP does not go obselete any time soon because SONY will probaly learn from their mistakes after the PSP 1.5 firmware and when the PSP2 comes out like 4-5 years from now it will stink to find out its hack proof and will have to be hard modded :( But if the PSP is successful in running N64 I may never see the point in buying another hand held again. As this is a dream that I always had.

Here's my current standings on this emulator:

Tested: PSP 2.60 (using the 1.5 files)
Bock Alternate Version and CPU @ 333mhz
Game: Bust-A-Move 2 - Arcade Edition.v64
Result: The program started up and recognized the title and the game started up with some glitches in the beginning then corrected itself.

After a bit, an error came up but the game still loaded up and I was able to play a bit before the game crashed.

Tested: PSP 2.60 (using the 1.0/2.0 files)
Bock Alternate Version and CPU @ 222mhz
Game: Bust-A-Move 2 -Arcade Edition.v64
Result: The game loads up again, same as above, minor glitch then corrects itself. Seems to me the game ran a little faster this time around.

-----Error message----- (same as above)
SaveDir is still empty - defaulting to roms
loading to mem *(name of rom)*

The game loaded up a LOT farther than above and this time, i got to play the game!

From the looks of things, the emu will run a lot faster if you start the psp at 222mhz and less graphical glitches.

If you STILL think it does NOT work on 2.01-2.60, I pity the person that calls you there child... :P

:::::EDIT:::::
Tested this on same specs as above (1.0/2.0 files) except I used the eloader with the new menu released.

System ran fine again...loaded up pretty quick. Seems like the more you use it, the faster it goes. Can anyone confirm this one? Also, i had it running at a framerat of 12.43.

::::::::::EDIT2::::::::::
Tested out a few more games:

Blast Corps - loads, but doesn't get farther than the RARE logo
Crusin USA - wouldn't load up at all
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time - get an error upon starting:

Resident Evil 2 - Doesn't Start up...lol...I knew it wouldn't but I just felt like trying anyways.

Possible Team-up in the World of Emulating N64?

Tue 2 May 2006, 5:28 AM by Kaiser

The suprising release of Daedalus and the extremely positive feed back recieved on the project may have started something truly great. PSMonkey has long been developing his own N64 emulator for the PSP and has gone quite a long way since first releasing his port of Nincest. There's been much buzz around a possible team up with some promising posts by Nexis/PSmonkey and StrmnNrmn over at the Emutalk forums. Whether they are helping each other with information exchanges or if they have decided to team up and work on a single emulator, this can only mean good things ahead for PSP users.

These are exciting days in the world of PSP homebrew so keep your ears and eyes peeled!
