You need to have the official gpsp kai in a folder (from before).

Just replace the EBOOT.PBP in that folder with the new EBOOT.PBP in the link I gave (the rest should remain the same).

Is the EBOOT.PBP the only file inside the folder?

Yeah, that's the problem. It can't be the only file in the folder.

Do this, download gpsp kai 3.3 full.

And just take the new EBOOT.PBP that you downloaded before and put it in the same folder as gpsp kai 3.3 full. Then it should work.

Default You Can Use One Battery To Do It

I also ended up hating Gen-b and through some quick thinking I was able to downgrade using ONE battery.

First:
Pandorize your battery using the Gen-B recovery menu. Don't worry it's only a soft-mod and you can change it back.

Second:
Make a magic memory stick for a certain m33 firmware (any recent ones or even old ones would work, I used 3.80m33) make sure to backup your stuff BEFORE doing this as you have to format your memory stick.

Third:
With both the Magic Memory stick and the Pandora battery, install firmware files you downloaded.

Fourth:
Using PSP Tool, turn your pandora battery back into a normal one. To do this put PSP tool on your memory stick after you've installed you're firmware. using the AC adapter without your pandorized battery turn on your PSP, run PSP Tool and insert battery, then choose something that says something along the lines of "Backup Battery EEPROM" THEN "Convert To Normal". These should be under battery options.

:Fifth
Once you have a normal battery again, then use Hellcat's Recovery Flasher to jump to 5.00m33-6

I know what you're saying, "Why didn't you use Hellcat's before all of this and saved the trouble." Believe me I tried numerous times and was NOT able to do it. Hope this helps.
