I don't own a PSP yet but since I'm doubting to buy it or not I'm checking some stuff that is important (to me)
The save files do they contain like levels or ...
Are all the save entries done manually ??
How much saves are there average within a game ? -> I've heard that loading time on a PSP can be a bit to long ... ???

yo, u shuld deff get a PSP, it is amazin, if u have a wirelss router, and the game wipeout pure, u can go online with your PSP. but besides that amazin feature, there are lots of things that r kickass and no, the loadin times r not very long, it depends on the game, i have dynasty warriors and tony hawk underground 2 remix and the load times r not very long, 5-7 seconds, and if that seems like a long time to u, it will be worth it when u see the amazin graphics in both of the games. so yes, deffinatley get a PSP, it is amazin and there r only more and more things comin for it

You should definitly get a PSP. Once I got it, I had a great time being amazed by the graphics and amount of stuff inside the game. I have Dynasty Warriors, and Luminis. They are both great games. And if PSP follows the same trend as PS2, then the games are going to get great! Just think GTA3 vs. GTA: San Andreas!

Anyways... Go to Blockbuster and buy a USB Cord for PSP. Then plug and play! A new Removeable Drive should pop up, but that depends on your system. Go into it and into the PSP folder. Your folder address should be X:PSP From there would be your Game, Music, Photos etc. folders. If there is few folders/your missing folders, turn on your PSP and go to System SettingsFormat your Memory Stick. WARNING THIS WILL ERASE YOUR STICK! Or you can add the folders in by hand, like any other folder creation.

Then just pop the folder into the Saves part of your Memory Stick

do you guys need saves, because I beat Twisted Metal Head-On 9 or 10 times, and have unlocked all the characters including the final boss.

First off let me say i love what u guys r doing here, keep up the saved games and i'll keep coming. I also recommend that everyone who owns a psp upgrades their memory card.

...my question is how do i rename, edit or save a game out in a way so i can control the name of the saved game file...?

i have downloaded several game files already and from my experience each game has a very specific code for its saved game file...for example tony hawk's underground is: ULUS10014....i downloaded 2 different tony hawk saved games and both are named with the game code and the players name or nickname attached to the end...when i create my own profile it attaches the name to the end of the saved game code just as the ones i downloaded...easy enough

...although not all my games do this, for example ridge racer, the saved game code is: ULUS10001000...downloading other peoples saved games and saving my own games all come out with just the code...

...to get right to the point my daughter plays my psp all day while im at work she loves it, but i want to be able to keep several saved game files on my psp at once without it over writing...

...i have tried to edit it and it becomes corrupted, without having to keep several game files saved on my pc in different folders is there a way to add/edit the name...?

...the games that do add ur player name to the saved game folder (that i have found) are: atv offroad, tony hawk, lumines, rengoku, spider-man, and wipeout (there might be others)...so these games r not a problem, but for all the others i have found it only saves the saved game code, thus it is hard to have multiple profiles on my psp at a time...

...im sure you all get the idea by now, sorry if i ramble, and i can only hope that one of you out there has found a solution to this problem without storing the saved game files on my pc...

...thank you for all time and if i come up w/a solution myself i'll be sure to post it...

just like monkey4u said, the ridge racer file is always named the same... from different uploads... and I have downloaded many saved files submitted by others on this site. I managed to save them in the saved data folder on my formated MS DUO stick. In fact, on the saved data utilities, I can see those files. However, I could never play them. Any clue? I have not tried out coded arms yet but as far as RIDGE RACER goes, my downloaded saved files from this site doesn't seem to be recognized by the game. Whenever I start, it just doesn't show the LOAD GAME icon. Hence, I just can't play those files downloaded. Every time, it wants me to do another profile. This is frustrating. Any lead?
