HPD 5.0x Instructions
Introduction:
HPD is based on the Japanese HP Display Hack.
It works by hijacking a game function forcing the game to execute the hack.
It's a combination of CWCheat Codes & ASM.
Much credit goes to the original author for reversing the game and creating the initial hack.
I'd also like to credit those that expanded it to 3.1,2 etc.
Based on the coding it seems to have been another person.
Sadly none of those Nicks/Names are known to me.
I'd also like to thank
Vlan &
Itachi61 for helping me test the earlier/debug versions
.
and of course:
You, for using it.

Installation & Usage:
Copy all lines to your cheat.db They will be auto activated.
So you only need to enable Cheats.
Don't copy them into the db while inGame.
There is a high chance they won't show up completly!
Unless you add them to the top of your cheat.db.
Once it was activated the only parts that need to stay active
are those with the 'Loader' & 'uColor' Tag
But it won't hurt to leave them all on.
Controls:
- L+Select - Activate/Deactivate the Hack
- R+Select - Activate/Deactivate the Monster Status Display
- L+Right - Activate/Deactivate the Stagger Limit Display
- L+Up/L+Down - Scroll through the Monster List.
- L+Left - Change between the 2 active colors
- WLAN - Change the Partner HP Display into Multiplayer Mode.
Here are the two official colors of the HPD 5.0x:
(4m8:!c3)
(IoN:F!r3)
(In the actual hack only 2 Partner HP Displays would be visible in this scenario. I changed it a bit so you can see the different colors for the Multiplayer Display.)
The default color is 4m8:!c3 btw.
On the Top is the Multiplayer PartnerHP Display.
The order is the same for all Party Members.
Server - Client1 - Client2 - Client3
On the left above the Monster List is the SinglePlayer PartnerHP Display.
(Not visible on the Pictures)
The Monster List comes next. Not much to explain here.
It becomes browseable as soon as the Status Display is active.
Status Display is your average Status Display.
The abbreviations in the second Part stand for:
Slp: Sleep; Poi: Poison; Par: Paralyze; KO: Knock Out
The Stagger Limit Display shows you how much damage you have to
deal to certain Body Parts to either break or seriously injure them.
Since the Body Parts change with each Monster Type.
There is no easy way to read this display except try&error.
It can only be activated if the Status Display is on screen.
Dark_Vlx has made
a list to map them to a specific monster type
I think this should cover the Basics.
As usual if you feel like it
use the reputation button to say thanks.
(the one that looks like this

)
This way it won't spam the thread.
And now
Have Phun
On a Sidenote:
I hate this Version..
Not because of all the requests and stuff..
but because I forgot to take 3 lines out before I relinked it.....
Now the code has 3 nops too much.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
If you are wondering how that can be so important...
It just is!!!11eleven
