sony patched the new tiff exploit, with out that there needs to be a new door to run unsigned code before even thinking about kernel mode.

so basically its possible.. but only if someone finds this door.
there kernel exploit that was used here will surly be patched up in the next fw update tho.
good thing about it is 5.50 *should* still have the kernel vulnerable.

i respect those guys who do that. i have no idea what any of that means. i really hope they do. im just really surprised that Dark_Alex hasnt done anything about the psp 3000. i havent heard anything from him in a while

Hi every1 , questions from a newb or noob....
Got a 3001 and I did the new chickHen and got it to work.... but right now I have no idea what to do..... I wanted to use a snes emu. or a n64 emu. I've heard something about a halo (emu.? don't know) , I got them n64 and snes emus but don't know how to use them.... there's no info in the readme files , is it the same method for the ChickHen?

take the folder that has the eboot.pbp file and put it in PSP/GAME

I remember the tiff exploit to downgrade from 2.71 to 1.5.It took me 36 times for the hen to work,but this year there is a new breed of greatness.I must applaud all in the development of this hen.I will try this on a 3000 psp,but getting my hands on one is rather pricy.

i was so excited but it wont work for me. i followed the directions and i have ofw 5.03 but when i try to use it the psp just hangs and shuts off. any ideas?

keep trying till it works.
..
-remove wallpaper.
-remove theme.
-set everything back to default.

could help..
