Like I said, it's worked every time. I don't scroll down to the *.tiff file, just leave it sitting on the first thumbnail, and as long as the first thing I do after booting the PSP is run ChickHEN Mod it's always worked.

The only times it doesn't go on the first try have been when I've done something else before that, like connecting to USB to exchange files or looking under different tabs.

I've found that if I play a UMD game for a few minutes and then try ChickHEN that it tends to work better. I've tried ChickHEN by itself at least 500 times with no success, but after playing a game and trying it I've been successful every time. I dunno if its the same for everyone though. I guess its just luck?

good luck trying to get chickhen to work though

Yeah, that's what i did but nope, it won't work unless after i restore it to default setting & reformat my stick. What i'm trying to say is, making it to work everytime after you turn it on without reformatting the stick & restoring it back to default setting.

yorT posted a new h.bin file on 5-6-2009. I recommend not using it because it apparently comes from the first version of chickenit displays 5.03 chicken instead of 5.03 chicken r2). Custom firmware enabler wont work with the h.bin file that he posted the link for.

I DON'T reformat the stick or restore default settings. I've done that maybe once since putting this on my PSP3000, and that was just because I was having issues with PSN downloads that I'd downloaded on a different PSP. I've been using this version of ChickHEN nearly every day because the PSX game I've been playing lately likes to crash regardless of which POPs I use. Maybe reformat the first time, when you're putting it on fresh, but I've never had to do that for day-to-day use.

That's why I got the ChickHEN Mod; I was sick of ChickHEN R2 not working reliably, and the only advice anyone had was "Take 45 minute to an hour out of your day to reformat your entire freaking 8GB stick and reload it every single time you want to run the stupid thing because then it'll be 100% for one use". Which felt prohibitively time-consuming to me.
