Hi, I recently updated my PSP with the ChickHEN Enabler, and everything was going perfectly. Well today I attempted using the RIN GBC emulator. When I tried to load a ROM, my PSP crashed and I had to manually turn it off. When I tried to enable ChickHEN once again, it took me several attempts instead of the usual single attempt. When I finally got it working again, I noticed that my PSP no longer picked up the PICTURE folder on my memory stick. I thought nothing of it and attempted to play a GBA game on my gpSP MOD emulator. Things went as usual, but when I tried to start up a game, I got this:
![]() I have since formatted my memory stick and updated to ChickHEN numerous times, but ChickHEN still doesn't become enabled as usual and the GBA games still crash my PSP. Does anyone know if there's something I can do? Thank you in advance. |

newer version of chickHEN out now. With the release of Custom Firmware Enabler v1.0 earlier, homebrew coder m0skit0 has decided to release a mod that will enable ChickHEN to load much smoother. Now this is handy for all the PSP owners with TA-088v3 motherboards who haven't tried the ChickHEN homebrew enabler from Team Typhoon yet. To install the program: 1. Power on the PSP 2. Connect to the PC via USB. 3. Open the folder of the PSP and copy the download (in the root of the MS) 4. Decompress ChickHEN Mod.zip. Answer "Yes" to all replacements. 5. Now we do a safe extraction of the PSP and switch to PSP now 6. Press O to cancel USB connection 7. Go to Photos, down to Memory Stick and press X 8. Wait for the egg image to load in the ChickHEN Mod square. 9. When it's loaded press X (no need for timing here) 10. DO NOTHING MORE, JUST WAIT If you are successful, you'll see the green light flashing and it will reboot in the ChickHEN environment. After that, you can now enable the CFW Enabler v1.0. If it doesn't work, just reset your PSP and go back to step 7. M0skit0 says that this program is guaranteed to work on PSP-2000s and tested on some PSP-3000s. |

Do we (ones with psp 3000) still need a pandora battery and MMS for this? I have mine on order for when it is fully hacked but it would be nice to try this before it comes in.

I find MP_ROOT but not MS ROOT, I have PSP 2000, without the motherboard, is this only for the one WITH the motherboard? Also I have version 5.03

also the memory sticks root is not MP_ROOT the root of the memory stick is where you see the PSP folder but not inside it just on the same page as it just don't run any flash0 modifying applications such as recovery flasher before you find out if you have a hackable motherboard or not because you will brick if you have a unhackable motherborad
