Yep safe to upgrade to 5.03. And the link you provided is the 5.03 Official Update so yeah it's the right one

I doubt there will be an exploit found for older CFW.

Is this right? there are to many confusing ways

H.bin in MS_ROOT (changed from mp_root)

ChickHENR2 folder in %:\PSP\PHOTO (had to create 'PHOTO' folder)

<EDIT> Holy cr*p its such a random thing. WiFi off/on = didnt load tiff. umd in = f***ed up screen and into the hen environment, no green flash or anything

i know it says no prx support or psp iso's or psx eboots... but has anyone tried this (( http://dl.qj.net/PS1P-Alpha-1-PSOne-...1451/catid/263 )) because this is an emulator like the rest of em...

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

I have been browsing chickhen folder -> turning on -> browsing chickhen folder -> turning on -> chickhen folder -> turning on.... for ages >.>

I hope this works today, I am not going to be pressing buttons all night

Edit:
I am getting stressed

Edit 2:
Any suggestions? I have tried with wlan off, umd cache off, usb power off, image in different folders and nothing! the best I could get was browsing the chickhen folder and the image didn't crash my PSP (it shouldn't do this tho)
