Use pspident after enabling chickHen to determine what mother board ur psp has.

If its ta-088v3, then continue using ChickHen + CFW Enabler... U have no other choice...

if its anything below ta-088v3, then use this tutorial to install 5.00M33

Thanks bestyugiman , worked for me after 3 tryes , i found the the one that worked was the one i got there qiucker on the blue . I've put it on a 3003 and tryed other methods with no luck .

Well , spoke too soon , it worked fine , installed genB then played a game on my mem card then i changed the mem card for another one with games on , reverted back to 5.03 ofw . How comes ??

Ok , EDIT , put the mem card in with the chickHen , done the blue pic again after 10 tryes it worked and then said something about booting and it worked again , genB is there , This is weird or is just me ?
EDIT again , i just read that if you turn psp off the cfw goes . That sucks but better than nothing . Thanks everybody .

Format ur memory stick,Restore settings to default and try again.

yes i have ofw 5.03, i already format the memory stick and tried several times and nothing seems to work, psp just shutdown

Go to System setting - and change character set to US(437)..
If it doesnt work, try this version..I am using it and it works all the time.
