the best chickhen mod ever

i'M trying now...about to install CFW enabler...
but I got no indication that the CHICK hen WAS successful.
The 3000 did reboot.

I think most people here got it on their first try after reformatting & restoring to default ....

The thing we need now is a Chicken that work most of the time WITHOUT reformatting & restoring to default setting just in case if you accidentally turn off your PSP.

actually , this chickhen doesn't need formatting each time . my friend never formats and it always works from the first try. it just requires restoring to default settings and changing the theme to original . and that's actually better than waiting for many hours for the normal chickhen to work !

Hey, I found the problem some have been running into, including me.

You don't copy the unzipped file itself, you copy what's IN IT. The unzipped file is a Chicken Folder and within it are the pictures and another chicken folder. copy the the 2nd chicken folder and the pics under PSP/photo, not the folder containing them. I tried this myself and it works. That way in XMB when you enter Photo you see the color pics right away without entering Chicken.

If someone other than me confirms this it'd be great if you updated the original post.Thanks for the mod, btw.

well me on the other hand copied the whole folder including the other chickHEN folder. worked fine. but i guess i didn't follow on through with the instruction.

@TheCuddlyDevil : yeah you're correct , many people fell in this mistake , and most of them forget to copy the h.bin to the root of the memory stick . Thx for the note

I'm on a PSP 2000. and i recommend the information on this thread to every other PSP 2000 user searching for a higher success rate with activating the chickHEN on their PSP.

hi im new on here so trying not to sound thick or dense ..i tried using chicken like u said at first i didnt get anywere then one time mine rebooted on blue screen when i tried installing CFWEnabler i had probs my psp wouldnt recognise it so i cleared memory card started again now my CFWENABLER works but when i got to blue screen on chichen it just doesnt flash i put the h. file in the root memory but were am i going wrong aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its doing my head in ... cheers please keep reply in lamen terms like i said im no village idiot but im no Ienstien either... cheers
