Default PSPident 0.4 + Quick reference

http://sceners.org/index.php?id=27
Quote:
jas0nuk (\/) has released a new version of his pspident, quite a great tool that everyone should know and handle when you want to know the specifics about what model and mobo you have on your hands.
Changelog is as follows:
0.3 -> 0.4
  • Long overdue update. Congrats to all the PSP-3000 users who can finally use homebrew!
  • Updated all the data with the latest available, so it now detects TA-088 v1/v2/v3, TA-090 v1 (final version of Slim) and TA-090 v2 (first version of PSP-3000 or “Brite”)
  • Due to a lack of info, TA-088 v1 and v2 are are indistinguishable and will appear as such on the app.
Now, to complete this post, i’d like to add a quick reference that i already had on spanish on the forum
First of all, about how the pspident works, the CPU (Tachyon), Syscon (Baryon) and Pommel versions of the different mobos. For the Phat version (01g):
  1. TA-079 v1 (Tachyon:0×00140000 ; Baryon:0×00030600 ; Pommel: 123)
  2. TA-079 v2 (Tachyon:0×00200000 ; Baryon:0×00030600 ; Pommel: 123)
  3. TA-079 v3 (Tachyon:0×00200000 ; Baryon:0×00040600 ; Pommel: 123)
  4. TA-081 (Tachyon:0×00300000 ; Baryon:0×00040600 ; Pommel: 123)
  5. TA-082 (Tachyon:0×00400000 ; Baryon:0×00114000 ; Pommel: 123)
  6. TA-086 (Tachyon:0×00400000 ; Baryon:0×00121000 ; Pommel: 123)
Now the Slim & Lite version (02g):
  1. TA-085 (Tachyon:0×00500000 ; Baryon:0×0022B200 ; Pommel: 123)
  2. TA-085 v2 (Tachyon:0×00500000 ; Baryon:0×00234000 ; Pommel: 123)
  3. TA-088 v1 (Tachyon:0×00500000 ; Baryon:0×00243000 ; Pommel: 123)
  4. TA-088 v2 (Tachyon:0×00500000 ; Baryon:0×00243000 ; Pommel: 123)
    Note: As silverspring said, 88v2 does exist, but the changes on Tachyon probably weren’t too big to upgrade the version number
  5. TA-088 v3 (Tachyon:0×00600000 ; Baryon:0×00243000 ; Pommel: 123)
  6. TA-090 (Tachyon:0×00600000 ; Baryon:0×00243000 ; Pommel: 123)
And now the 3k, (03g):
  1. TA-090 v2 (Tachyon:0×00600000 ; Baryon:0×00263100 ; Pommel: 132)
Now let’s continue with other thing. What about a quick compatibility list?
  1. TA-079 v1 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  2. TA-079 v2 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  3. TA-079 v3 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  4. TA-081 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  5. TA-082 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  6. TA-086 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  7. TA-085 v1 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can create pandora
  8. TA-085 v2 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
  9. TA-088 v1 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
  10. TA-088 v2 -> Can be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
  11. TA-088 v3 -> Can NOT be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
  12. TA-090 v1 -> Can NOT be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
  13. TA-090 v2 -> Can NOT be cfw’d -> Can NOT create pandora
And, let’s make a last one! What about a quick boxcode list for the ofw that are inside? For the Phat models (01g):
  1. A = 1.50
  2. B = 1.51
  3. C = 1.52
  4. D = 1.52
  5. E = 1.52
  6. F = 2.00
  7. G = 2.01
  8. H = 2.50
  9. I = 2.60
  10. J = 2.70
  11. K = 2.71
  12. L = 2.81
  13. M = 3.01
  14. N = 3.03
  15. O = 3.10
  16. P = 3.11
  17. Q = 3.30
  18. R = 3.40
  19. S = 3.50
  20. T = 3.51
  21. U = 3.52
Now for the Slim & Lite (02g);
  1. (No letter) = 3.60
  2. A = 3.71
  3. B = 3.71
  4. C = 3.72
  5. D = 3.73
  6. E = 3.80
  7. F = 3.90
  8. G = 3.95 / 4.01
  9. H = 3.95 / 4.01
  10. I = 4.01
  11. J = 4.05
And for the 3k models (03g);
  1. (No letter) = 4.20
  2. A = 4.20/4.21
  3. B = ??
  4. C = 5.02
  5. D = ??
  6. E = ??
But well, all this lists will grow and grow, and i bet that we’ll have to update it more than one time :-P
now you call tell if you CFW able psp or not

3000s and ta088v may NEVER get CFW do to the pre-ipl exploit fix that sony did (till the pre-ipl get dump some how)look here

It a good idea to have "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

Sweet tool. What does it mean if my Pommel reads 103?
And what do "Kirk" and "Spock" refer to? Other than Star Trek characters.
