Update: Instructions from 0okm regarding the SoftDown procedure:

step 1

1. send a email to 0okm00@gmail.com with Subject “I Accept all SoftDown conditions”
2. Wait i reply a email to you

step 2

1. Restore PSP to Default Settings
2. Format the Memory Stick
3. copy eLoader098TIFF & O250082CnD to Memory Stick
4. PowerOff PSP
5. PowerOn PSP
6. Start eLoader098TIFF from PHOTO Menu
7. Start O250082CnD to “Dump DATA” to Memory Stick
8. Zip the “Dump DATA” with Password and Upload it to FreeWebHost(eg. http://rapidshare.de/)
9. preserve the “Dump DATA” because when run SoftDown if DATA has problem it may BRICK your PSP !!!

step 3

1. when Received the O250082SD(SoftDown Program)
2. Restore PSP to Default Settings
3. Format the Memory Stick
4. copy “Dump DATA”, “FW1.50 DATA”, ipl_update.prx, eLoader098TIFF & O250082SD to Memory Stick
5. PowerOff PSP
6. PowerOn PSP
7. Start eLoader098TIFF from PHOTO Menu
8. Start O250082SD to SoftDown your PSP

this program NOW just support FW2.50
FW2.60/2.71 please wait

if your PSP is FW2.50 TA-082 and you
1. Trust me & support me
2. Agree NOT share my program & softdowned FW dump data to anyone
3. you know "Flash write" program may brick the PSP and Use it at your own Risk
4. you have a "ISP email Acc"

Q: Why need Trust me ?
A: because you need to give me your "ISP email", "PSP Serial Number" and "FW dump DATA".

Q: Why can't shared my program to other
A: because each program just for one PSP, other PSP use it will brick !!

Q: What happen if you shared my program & softdowned FW dump data to anyone ?
A: i will RELEASE ALL your personal information and STOP help people SoftDown !!!

For all you's who stayed patient, and not upgraded for the homebrew enabler, here's your chance to downgrade. Me myself would have upgraded, less hassle and safer and its more less the same as having a 1.5 psp.

Hmm seems like there is a lot of risky business involved. But hopefully this will open the door to many users, on going back to firmware 1.5. Its too bad how Ookm is probaly getting flooded with emails though D:

Also if anyone trys this, you can't upgrade to 1.51 to 2.01 the psp will reject it and you'll be left with a brick. :evil:

y would it reject it? is it the motherboard or the downgrader?

thats why you can't downgrade normally the hardware(mobo) rejects it. so its the exact same if you want to upgrade.
