well i made some tests and the jpn0.pgf didnt affect any fonts...
but gb3s1518.bwfon affected japanese, korean and chinese..=/
really??? that is quite strange? gb3s1518.bwfon can't be a font because its not .pgf but my PSP goes BSOD without it? maybe it displays the chosen font?

i assumed jpn0.pgf = japanese font and kr0.pgf = Korean font because it sounds logical but thats good old sony for you Waaay away from logic. lol

i suppose though theres no reference to ch0.pgf and there would have to be for a chinese font following that pattern. so wheres the chinese font?

Shall I remove those references?

loool, you cant remove a font lol thats why everybody replaces it with a smaller font like ltn9.pgf. and yes, bwfon i think its font.
Yes following that logic, it would be like that but if you replace the bwfon and jpn0 with ltn9, you wont be able to use the japanese, chinese or korean fonts.

EDIT, i found this in m33 readme:
Quote:
- The chineses and korean languages did not work in XMB, because they crashed homebrew and recovery.
The issue has been fixed, but korean font is not there, so you need to take it with psardumper from official updater, and put it in flash0:/font/kr0.pgf.
The kr0.pgf is the ltn9.png renamed.

the registry CHECKS ALL FONTS, If you have one corruped, then it will BSOD, but you cant fix the bsod only by pressing O, you must fix the font, thats why i included an autoboot feature with my app.

I dont think theres a way to change the title but i think this thread should be stickied so that it doesn't fade into the sunset like other good threads, we can keep it up-to-date as other modifications and discoveries are made because this is good reference when installing or modifing themes.

btw - followed the link in pirata nervo's sig and found that: vshctrl.prx in flash0:/kn contains system version information!, just thought you might want to add one in. also i have to say a great thread only 42 posts in, well done!

the kn folder is the KERNEL FOLDER.
If you do something wrong there, you can BRICK the psp, it isnt the "System version information", that is stored in the vshctrl.prx and i can show on my forum.

O.K, its not just system infomation but it does contain it doesn't it?
this is a quote from your forum:

Quote:
Needed:
- Decrypted vshctrl.prx
.....

put it in this directory:
flash0:/kn/put it here overwriting the older file
Thats what i understood by the tut

*EDIT*

Also by the way Kin3tiK, how about we host each of the files listed so they are all hyperlinked, uncrypted stock versions for theme makers to use that would make the thread awesome!
