Default PSP-2003 + ChickHEN R2 + CFE 3.60 = Slow

I have been asked to mod a Slim PSP-2003 running Official firmware 5.03 after the owner had a go and could not get his head around it.
I have run ChickHEN R2 followed by Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 and all seemed successful.

Firmware now says "5.03 MHU"

However - while the PSP seems to respond at the same speed, loading ISO's is painfully slow, and in some cases they don't load.
I thought it was the SanDisk memory stick the guy is using, however it's the same when using my Official Sony memory stick.

ChickHEN R2 (copied to pictures folder) showed black screen, followed by green, followed by restart. Sys Info then said 5.03 ChickHEN R2

CFWEnabler 3.60 (copied to PSP/GAME folder) runs with success, and then displays 5.03 MHU in sys info.

Any idea's what I've missed? The PSP seems to be running at half speed.

Any help appreciated

Try increasing the CPU Clock Game Speed to 333

to do this go to vsh menu , by clicking on the select button from psp main menu
In here change the CPU Clock Game Speed to 333

Thank you - that worked. Game clock speed was set to 20/20.

All working fine now - much appreciated.

it won't "fry" your wifi chip, unless you left it going for a stupidly long amount of time, the chip, like most of the components in the psp, heat up a little more than they would at 222.

also, iirc, some of the psp games themselves actually ovverride the 222/111(133?) anyways, and clock it to 333/166, so it's really nothing to worry about. i, and probably many of the members here, have had their psp's clocked to 333, and i doubt that any of them could say that they fried their wifi
