Exclamation Questions about upgrading from 3.40 OE to latest CFW
ok im sorry if i put this in the wrong forum section but anyways i havnt been keeping myself up to date with all the psp hacks......so my question is what is the most latest/stable cfw now in days so i can put it on my psp and also what is the latest Firmwire out right now by sony.



My Info:

Fat Psp (not slim psp)
My current fw: 3.40 OE-A
Memory Card: 1GB

upgrade to 3.52m33 first. how to here = http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133...igher-t226892/

just follow the bottom part of the tut first to upgrade to 3.52m33-4 then you may upgrade to any cfw of your choice.
i recommend 4.01m33-2 for it is the latest cfw and the stablest

hmm i got one more question........ what happen to the OE? its kinda confusing now OE to M33

OE is the first type of CFW that came out. M33 is the newer versions with better features

actually the first custom firmware was D_A's POC firmware.

OE is just the name Dark_AleX gave a few of his custom firmwares, meaning Open Edition.

M33 is just a new name.

umm it talks about putting the 352.pbs into the update folder where is that?

you need to download the official 3.52update and rename it as 352.PBP and place it in the UPDATE folder of the 3.52m33 update that you downloaded.

just use this.

you can go straight to 4.01M33-2 with it.

but i thought you had to be atleast 3.52m33-4 to run the recovery flasher?
